The Ferry Building Gallery creates and offers art lectures, tours, workshops, and programs which reflect the cultural diversity of the North Shore community and provide a range of enriching experiences.

Painters' Landing April 1 - October 31 Permitted artists will paint, draw, exhibit, and sell their works on the grounds surrounding the Ferry Building Gallery, and parts of Millennium Park and Ambleside Parks.
Plein Air Primer July 12 Boost your confidence level in plein air painting in this exploratory workshop. Artist and master teacher Sheree Jones will guide you through simple steps to making a good plein air study, from choosing your subject to creating a solid composition. 16th Annual Grand Prix Plein Air Challenge August 9 Location: Along the Ambleside waterfront between 13th and 18th Streets In this time-honoured traditional painting competition, participants must compose, paint, complete and frame (or finish) a piece of art that has been created outdoors in under four hours.
